My journey to becoming a Spanish teacher really began with my own love of languages, travel and experiencing different cultures.

I studied Spanish at university and had the opportunity to spend time living and studying in Alicante, Spain, which made me appreciate the language even more. After completing my teaching qualification, I began teaching Spanish in Irish secondary schools and have been doing so full-time since 2018. Over the years, I realised that students often find it difficult to know exactly what they need to learn for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert Spanish, and that good-quality, exam-focused resources are not always easy to find.

That is where the idea for Spanish-Grinds.com came from.

I wanted to create a place where students and teachers could access clear, practical resources based on my own experience in the classroom and with the state exams. What started as a way of helping my own students has grown into a platform where I can share resources, revision materials and guidance with Spanish students and teachers across Ireland.
